smell awful, dog buries them for a couple of weeks then digs then up and decides to eat them takes ages to get through but he loves them

I bought a medium sized tripe bone for my 4 month old Shiba Inu pup. He has a similar sized rawhide bone which, despite regular chewing, has hardly made a dent in. This bone was completely demolished in just over an hour. It smells awful but my pup found it irresistible! The tribe bone started fragmenting along the length when he was half way through it, which seemed to make it quicker to consume. A bit pricy for a teeth and gums cleaner and the smell is very pungent; not for indoor consumption!...

Review
A medium size tripe bone lasted 37 minutes with my 4 month old vizsla. They do smell bad, and the smell lingers, but it's not too bad. The dog loved it and I didn't hear a thing from her until it was finished. Might get another one as a treat in the future. I found the ox tails lasted longer.

Favourite treat
Faith chose this herself from the petshop shelf and it is still her favourite treat. Its relatively expensive (bulk purchase option would be nice, JR) compared to her second favourite pigs' ears and lasts no longer so we save it for special occasions. We've found that a large one cut in half is the optimum portion for our (Lab sized) girl and you do need to make sure there's a big drink available for afterwards. Only just discovered its a JR product.

Tripe bone
Very long lasting for my French Bulldog who’s a tough chewer but it stinks sooo bad, took a long time for the smell to leave my flat

Didn't last as long as hoped
Our champion chewer demolished a medium one of these in ten minutes flat, suspect they'll last a bit longer for "normal" dogs.
